Reports To: Director, Business Intelligence – Medical Strategy and Operations
Experience Level: Mid-Level (3–5 years)
Role Overview:
This role focuses on analyzing Medical Affairs (MA) operations, designing KPIs, and delivering actionable insights to optimize engagement with healthcare providers. The analyst will work with cross-functional teams to support analytics strategies, dashboards, and AI-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Metrics Development:
- Design and implement KPIs and performance metrics for MA operations, content utilization, field engagement, AI adoption, and insights generation.
- Analyze internal and third-party datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Conduct cross-platform analyses to highlight optimization opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track campaign performance, user behavior, and KPIs.
- Partner with marketing, media, product, and analytics teams to translate business objectives into measurable strategies.
- Present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3–5 years in business analytics within healthcare (pharmaceutical experience preferred).
- Exposure to medical affairs, health economics, or commercial environments.
- Analytics tools and methodologies: SQL, statistical analysis, predictive analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, data visualization.
- Preferred: Python or R for data manipulation and advanced analytics.
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Experience interpreting complex datasets and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Healthcare Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- Familiarity with healthcare industry data sources: IQVIA, Definitive Healthcare, or similar.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical processes, including product launches, medical affairs operations, and payer access.
