Job Description
-
Acts as the face of the company for patients visiting for routine health services or important diagnostic testing.

Draws high-quality blood samples and prepares specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures and standards.

Builds patient trust and comfort by clearly explaining procedures and performing safe, skilled, and accurate blood collections.

May be assigned to a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
-
Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the supervision of an area supervisor.

Collect both forensic and clinical specimens following protocols.
-
Verify patient demographic information and ensure specimen tubes are labeled correctly in the patient’s presence.

Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and present a positive image to patients, clients, coworkers, and the public.
Job Requirements:

Deliver high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.

Work independently with minimal supervision.
-
Possess strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary blood collections.

Be flexible and available to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime.

Demonstrate professionalism, good judgment, and decision-making based on established procedures.

Have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record if travel is required.

Be able to work at multiple locations with minimal notice.

Manage multiple priorities effectively in a high-volume setting.

Exhibit superior customer service, open communication, adaptability, and business knowledge.
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Work Experience:
-
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (required).
Health and Vaccination Requirements:

Must have no active contagious disease.

Proof of immunization or immunity for:

MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
