Phlebotomist II
Duration: 4months
Location: Chambersburg PA
Shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3pm Rotational Saturdays 7am-12pm
Position Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of the company to patients—whether they are visiting for routine health services or life-impacting health decisions. The PSR II is responsible for drawing quality blood specimens, preparing them for laboratory testing, and ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with established protocols. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent phlebotomy skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and patient trust.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily tasks accurately and on time under the supervision of the area supervisor.

Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.

Confidently perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following all established procedures.

Verify patient demographics, initials, and signatures after venipuncture to ensure proper labeling of specimens.

Maintain required documentation and records.

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, staff, and the general public.

Exhibit leadership behaviors and process excellence.

Demonstrate sensitivity to confidentiality and patient information accuracy.
Requirements:
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience:
-
Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Skills & Competencies:
-
Superior phlebotomy skills (pediatric and geriatric).

Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced setting.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, on-call, overtime as needed).

Must be able to adapt to change and support multiple locations with minimal notice.

Committed to all company policies including dress code, safety, and guiding principles.

Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (if travel is applicable).
