Job Location: Nutley, NJ 07110 (Hybrid: 2-3 days/week onsite)
Job Duration: 6+ Months (Possibilities of extension)
Pay Rate: $75/hr. on W2
Candidate Requirements:
Job Summary:
The contractor will support the Oncology Medical Communications team by developing medical communications deliverables aligned with the Medical Affairs strategic plan for assigned therapeutic area(s). Deliverables include scientific exchange materials for KOL interactions (e.g., for MSLs), advisory boards, congress reports, internal medical affairs strategic communication tools (such as medical narratives), and training materials.
The role requires collaboration across Medical Affairs and adherence to compliance and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:
- Must have an advanced scientific or medical degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
- Minimum of 2 years oncology experience in a medical communications agency.
- At least 2 years of medical writing or content development experience preferred.
- At least 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
- Proficiency in VEEVA VAULT is required.
- Research or work experience in oncology is highly preferred.
Job Summary:

- Develop high-quality internal and external medical resources including:
- Reactive/proactive MSL slide presentations
- Advisory board materials
- Internal training materials
- Congress reports
- Other scientific exchange resources
- Ensure scientific content is relevant, accurate, and aligned with Medical Communications strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align on deliverables.
- Conduct literature reviews and update materials with the latest scientific publications.
- Follow review and approval processes per company policies.
- Manage workflow, track multiple projects efficiently.
- Manage reference library, including uploading key papers, congress materials, and maintaining catalogs and training guides.
Additional Requirements & Skills:
- Experience with advisory board content development and writing topline/executive summary reports.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to distill complex scientific topics quickly and effectively. Experience with data analytics and visualization platforms preferred.
- Deep understanding of medical content creation for high-quality, accurate, and engaging materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Demonstrated critical thinking, multitasking, and goal achievement abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
