Job Description:
8am to 5pm EST 15 states- (Client, FL, GA, ID, IA, KY, MI, NE, NM, NY (outside greater-NYC), OH, TX, UT, WA (outside greater-Seattle), WI)
Required Years of Experience: 2 to 4
Required Licensure / Education: Bachelor s degree in marketing, advertising or communications
Must Have Skills:
Background in healthcare Marketing Communications, all channels (print, digital (inclusive of social media), OOH, etc)
Microsoft Suite, Canva drag-and-drop experience (or equivalent graphic design platform and can immediately transfer skills.)
Project Management Software experience (We use Workzone)
Content Management Software experience (We use Sitecore for our public website)
Day to Day Responsibilities:
With minimal supervision, writes and develops content to support the creation of internal and external communication and marketing materials
Edits, proofs, and reviews all communications to meet the Client tone, voice, and style requirements
Advises and coordinates the production, ordering and distribution of communications, including print and promotional orders, external mailings, e-newsletters, and the publishing of web content, ensuring on-time production and distribution/delivery of materials
Serves as a liaison between internal departments and the external vendor(s) to coordinate jobs
Serves as a communication resource to department leaders; proactively and routinely meets with departments to determine communication and content needs
Ensures all state/federal regulatory and accreditation requirements are met in materials Ensures regulatory approval of materials as required by state and federal requirements
Summary:
Implement tactics and programs to enhance the companys image and support assigned health plans.
Primary focus will be on grassroots marketing programs and working with community-based organizations through Client state health plans.
Essential Functions:
Works closely with a variety of internal and external partners in developing and implementing strategic, measurable outreach and marketing programs.
Develops written materials and presentations Writes and proofreads a variety of copy Assists with event planning and organization Manages a variety of Marketing Communications projects
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong writing, proofreading and copy editing skills Highly developed organization skills to handle multiple priorities
Demonstrated ability to create effective presentations using PowerPoint Negotiating skills in dealing with vendors and business partners Outstanding interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills High degree of proficiency with business software such as the MS Office suite Strong problem-solving skills Direct communicator and team player A positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to abide by Clients policies Maintain regular attendance based on agreed-upon schedule Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers
Required Education:
Bachelors degree in marketing, advertising or communications
Required Experience:
2-4 years progressive experience in a marketing department, preferably in areas of healthcare marketing and promotion.
Experience with Medicaid and Medicare in a managed health care setting is desirable.
Comments for Suppliers:
Estimated OT Hours per Week (if applicable): There may be some variability with OT depending on a special project; the vast majority of the time this would not apply
