Job Location: Columbus, OH
Job Duration: 3-4 Months (possibility of extension)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Payrate: $20.24 - $22.00/ hr. on w2

• The Phlebotomist III – Float represents the face of our organization to patients visiting our facilities for routine health checks or critical diagnostic needs.
• This role involves drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while adhering to established protocols.
• The Phlebotomist III – Float ensures patient comfort, builds trust, and explains procedures clearly, performing collections skillfully and safely.
• This position requires flexibility to provide coverage across multiple locations and roles, ensuring smooth operations at Patient Service Centers (PSC), In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP), Mobile, and Long-Term Care settings.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections on patients of all ages (pediatric, adult, geriatric).
• Float between multiple sites to provide coverage and maintain operational efficiency.
• Act as a mentor, coach, and resource for new employees; assist with onboarding and training.
• Serve as point of contact for staff on-site and provide feedback to supervisors.
• Handle complex or high-volume practices requiring advanced phlebotomy skills and strong customer service.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Lab Services, IT, Billing, Logistics) for specialized or complex test orders.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of daily activities in PSC/IOP/Mobile settings.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and confidentiality protocols.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (Medical Assistant or Paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; mandatory in CA, NV, and WA.

• Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• At least 3 years in PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or healthcare setting preferred.
• Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
