Eligibility Requirement:
- Must live 100 miles away.
Shift:
- 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, 8 to 12 hours a day (depending on cases).
- Yes, every other weekend and sometimes 2 to 3 days a week on the week you are on call.
Job Description:
- Responsible for planning and preparing for the surgical procedure and assisting the surgeon.
- Responsible for sterilization of surgical equipment and to assemble scheduled and emergency case carts.
Education:
- High School diploma - Required.
Certifications & Licensure:
- NBSTSA Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) required.
- BLS certification required.
Experience:
- 2 years of experience in an operating room setting.
- Client experience required.
Skills:
- Good communication skills.
