Duration: 3 Months/ temp to hire
Location: Margate, FL 33063
Shift: Monday to Friday Must have flexibility for availability between 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM / Rotational Saturdays 6:30 AM - 12:00 PM
Overview:
The Phlebotomist II – Float serves as the face of the company, providing expert blood collection and specimen processing while delivering excellent patient care across multiple locations. This role supports high-volume and complex clients and may lead or mentor other staff on site.
Key patient-facing role responsible for skilled phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric draws, and accurate specimen processing. This role builds patient trust, ensures quality care, and upholds confidentiality. PSR IIs may be assigned to a Patient Service Center, physician’s office, or other locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood specimens safely and accurately
- Verify patient identity and label samples in their presence
- Maintain clean, professional workspaces and follow all safety protocols
- Ensure accurate recordkeeping and documentation
- Travel between multiple sites as needed (float position)
- Deliver high-quality service independently with minimal supervision
- Follow all company policies, including dress code and health/safety standards
Experience:
- 3+ years of phlebotomy experience (inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
- Experience in a Patient Service Center preferred
- Customer service and data entry experience required
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
- Certifications: Phlebotomy certification (REQUIRED in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere)
- Strong communication, multitasking, and judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Superior customer focus and adaptability
