TEMP TO HIRE POSITIONS

Description

Candidates needs to be available between the hours of 8am - 8pm (please see work schedule)

** Shift will be 9am-8pm 4 ten hr day, with 1 day off during week **

- Candidates are working in a Pharmacy environment, these are not desk positions
- These are ENTRY LEVEL positions
- Looking for candidates with great interpersonal skills, customer service possibly, fast-paced environment experience, professional demeanor

- Would look at candidates with previous or current Pharmacy or medical background, but if they don't have that and are looking to get into that, they would consider

Additional Info from HM:
- No testing required
- Looking for more Pharmacy experience than warehouse experience (Retail Pharmacy/cashier)
- There will be Face-to-Face interviews conducted for these positions

POSITION SUMMARY:
Pharmacy Technician - No certification is required, but previous experience in a Pharmacy environment would be extremely beneficial and preferred!

Prepare new prescription and refill orders. Select and retrieve appropriate medications, compound and dispense medical prescriptions, verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles. Send order to Pharmacist for completion. Pre pack medications from manufacture's bottle to use in dispensing medication in the quick pick areas. Prepare medications for shipment. Replenish work station supplies such as pill bottles, caps, safety seals and paper. Clean Equipment. May operate, refill and clean pill counting machine. Will be responsible for packing medication and supplies.

2. Pack orders in boxes / coolers w/ ice 40
3. Complete ancillary support functions 10

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum requirements to competently perform the key responsibilities of this job in terms of educational background, work experience, licenses/certifications or other knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • HS Diploma or equivalency required
  • Experience in a retail pharmacy or other medical setting preferred
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within dispensing pharmacy
  • Very detail oriented
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems and make decisions.
  • General PC knowledge
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule for peak times
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
