Job Summary:
- Works fairly independently on the most complex projects, at the highest technical level, of all phases of applications systems analysis activities. Using a diversified set of skills and knowledge the successful candidate will work with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments.
- They will work with other teams and other analysts to ensure continuation of a broad range of assignments and related fields to avoid errors which could cause delay, expense, and disruption.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Able to handle the most complex work and all aspects of the job using wide knowledge of the field and mastery (advanced knowledge, skill and/or abilities that provides subject matter authority and superior command in a particular job) of the subject matter
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems, considering computer capacity and limitations, operating time, and desired results.
- Formulates or defines system Product and objectives, based on user needs
- Monitored on projects' progress and results.
- May provide input in setting objectives and policy, identifying critical issues and introducing new concepts
- Makes decisions independently
- Provides assistance, advice, and solutions to peers, customers, and co-workers
- Identifies and implements better work alternatives and business processes
- Guides and advises less experienced Systems Analysts.
- Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Top 3 Required Skills:
- Must have prior implementation experience – implementing vendor software solutions full lifecycle (requirement gathering, testing, integrations, process improvement, etc)
- Must have prior experience working with third party vendors and helping improve business processes
- Must have prior experience and a deep understanding of the critical nature of cyber security
- Must have understanding of Oracle and SQL Server databases
- Ability to read and understand architecture diagrams, program coding and scripts
What soft skill requirements do you have (team fit and personality requirements)?
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to lead, collaborate, or work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Team player. Work within a team and when needed ability to work efficiently on their own.
Nice to Have Skills:
- .Net or Java programming; experience with developing, enhancing interfaces; project implementation of vendor software
Required Years of Experience:
- 5+ years of directly related experience as a Systems Analyst
Education:
- Minimum of High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
