Job Title: Phlebotomist II
Location: Overland Park, KS 
Duration: 2 months+, temp-to-hire  
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Job Summary

The Phlebotomist II serves as the face of the company and plays a critical role in providing quality healthcare services. This position involves collecting quality blood specimens from patients for laboratory testing while delivering a safe, accurate, and compassionate patient experience.

• Draw quality blood samples from patients in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Prepare specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures.
• Provide excellent patient care by creating a trustworthy and professional environment.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort.
• Maintain required documentation and accurate records.
• Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection duties confidently and in compliance with protocols.
• Follow all safety and infection control procedures.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and uphold patient confidentiality and data accuracy.
• Support a clean, organized, and professional work environment.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Phlebotomy certificate (Preferred)

Experience:

• 3+ year of phlebotomy experience (Required)
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment (Preferred)
• Proficient in keyboarding and data entry

Skills:

• Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric draws
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
