Associate Technician Production Operations
Job Title: Associate Technician Production Operations
Location: West Sacramento, CA, 95691
Duration: 6 months+ with possibility of extension or conversion
Pay Rate - $19.34/hr. on W2
Shift: Mon - Fri 9:30 to 6 PM
Job Description:
The Associate Technician in Production Operations performs various manufacturing tasks, primarily printing panels (loading/unloading panels on equipment) and material handling using carts, lifts, and pallet jacks. This role requires adherence to FDA, GMP, and ISO standards, accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean and safe production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform panel printing operations, including equipment setup, loading, and unloading.
- Handle materials safely using carts, lifts, and pallet jacks.
- Follow Company, Site, and Department procedures for compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory requirements.
- Perform daily housekeeping and support 5S activities in production areas.
- Maintain updated training records and assist in training new employees.
- Immediately report any safety, quality, or production issues to the appropriate level.
- Exercise authority to stop production in case of safety, quality, or production concerns.
Physical Demands:
- Standing for ~80% of the shift, plus bending, kneeling, lifting, and sitting.
- Regular use of hands for handling materials, reaching at various heights, and repetitive movements.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Frequent talking, hearing, and coordination for assembly work.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production operations a plus.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard work practices.
- Team player with adaptability and strong attendance.
- Knowledge of FDA, GMP, or ISO requirements desirable.
