Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Venice, FL
Job Duration: 4+Months (possibility of extension)

Shift timings: Monday – Friday – 6:00am – 2:30pm and Saturday – 7:00am – 12:00pm at different site of Venice

The Phlebotomist is the patient-facing role responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing. This role ensures a safe, accurate, and compassionate experience for patients by explaining procedures clearly and following strict protocols. The Phlebotomist maintains confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism while supporting process excellence under supervisor guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform phlebotomy (including pediatric and geriatric) and specimen processing confidently and accurately.

• Maintain thorough documentation and a safe, professional environment.

• Build trust with patients through clear communication and leadership behaviors.

• Work independently and reliably with minimal supervision.

• Follow schedules strictly, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.

• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

• Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience; 1+ year preferred.

• Strong customer service and data entry skills.

• Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 20-25 minutes.

• Punctuality and attendance are critical.
