Phlebotomist I

Title: Phlebotomist I (PSR I)
Location: Davie, FL
Duration: 3+ months (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM & Rotational Saturdays, 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM

The Phlebotomist I (PSR I) is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing. This role requires professionalism, patient care, and excellent phlebotomy skills while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection, including pediatric and geriatric patients

• Prepare, label, and process specimens according to established protocols

• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment

• Build patient trust by explaining procedures clearly and professionally

• Accurately complete all records and documentation

• Follow supervisor direction to perform daily tasks accurately and on time

• Promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and staff

• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call shifts as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)

• Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required)

• 1+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred)

• Customer service in a retail or service-based setting (preferred)

• Strong keyboard/data entry skills (required)

• Excellent phlebotomy skills across multiple patient groups

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

• Must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the site

• Consistent punctuality and attendance required
