Job Title: CT Technologist
Locations: Mckinney, TX 75071
Duration: 3 + Months (Possible Extension)
 
Shift: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (Mon to Fri)
Working hours/week: 40
Pay Rate/hr: $75
Weekly gross for 40 working hours: $3000 (all-inclusive)

Facility: Hospital setting
 

Client’s Requirement:
  • Active ARRT license, TMB license
  • BLS (from AHA)
 
Job Summary:
  • Ensured patient safety and delivered age-appropriate care during imaging procedures
  • Performed CT imaging examinations following physician orders and radiologist direction
  • Verified written orders, obtained informed consent as needed, and provided patient education regarding procedures
  • Assisted radiologists with specialized procedures and supported clinical training for student technologists
  • Operated and maintained imaging equipment efficiently, minimizing repeat exams and optimizing resource use
  • Documented accurate patient history, orders, and results in electronic systems
  • Communicated effectively with patients, families, staff, and radiologists, maintaining professionalism in all interactions
  • Adhered to hospital policies, radiation protection standards, and safety regulations (OSHA, DHEC, FDA, TJC, ALARA)
  • Supported department goals, demonstrated flexibility, and functioned as a team player across imaging disciplines
  • Maintained licensure requirements, completed annual in-service training, and upheld patient confidentiality
