Duration: 3 months
Shift time: Position is full time, 12 hour rotating shifts, with potential to swing shifts (days & nights)
Position is full-time, 12-hour rotating shifts (two on, two off, three on, two off, two on, three off)); will be either day 7:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m.; or night, 7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.
Base pay: if they work night shift it is an extra $1.50 per hour.
The idea for this role is to be a floater. Meaning the candidate would float to whichever shift needs help due to folks being out. So the candidate could be on days for a while and then go to nights. It really just depends what the state of our staffing is at the time. Of course we would allow days off to adjust sleep schedules.
Fork lift experience, team player, experience with chemicals preferred but not required.

JOB SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for performing specific field duties and assist operations in Monomer and Oligomer plants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Charge raw materials to reactions for monomer and/or oligomer as directed by Shift Lead Properly label containers, then package finished monomer and oligomer product in either drums or totes When necessary, assist with training of new production operators Take samples as directed by board operator for testing Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required Assist in other operations in the plant as directed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TECHNICAL SKILLS/BEHAVORIAL SKILLS:
Minimum High School graduate or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) Ability to work effectively as part of a team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TECHNICAL SKILLS/BEHAVORIAL SKILLS:
One to two years chemical manufacturing experience Computer skills, including Microsoft platforms and SAP
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS
Works in a manufacturing environment with chemical, physical, ergonomic, and electrical hazards Job duties may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, powered industrial trucks, hot work or steam, working at heights, sharp tools, and slip or wet hazard; walking, talking, hearing, and seeing Work is primarily performed inside the manufacturing complex but includes exposure to outside environmental conditions Worker may be exposed to dust, chemicals, odors, and other atmospheric conditions Handles or works around hazardous substances following proper safety protocols Work requires the use of personal protective clothing and equipment Scheduled hours may include extended hours as needed
Noise levels in the work environment remain below OSHA permissible exposure limits
