Job Summary
The Radiologic Technologist, under the general supervision of a Radiologist, performs diagnostic radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospitalized patients in accordance with established protocols to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.
Essential Job Functions

Perform high-quality radiologic exams efficiently and according to protocol

Ensure accurate patient identification and correct exam performance

Maintain imaging quality standards and productivity benchmarks

Apply radiation safety principles, including dose monitoring and documentation

Communicate clearly with patients using AIDET to explain procedures and ease concerns
-
Prepare and position patients; adjust equipment and exposure factors as needed
-
Follow infection control, safety, and radiation protection policies
-
Maintain equipment functionality and department cleanliness
-
Assist with supply inventory and report equipment issues
-
Screen individuals for department safety compliance

Maintain complete and accurate patient documentation

Enter and manage imaging records in the designated medical imaging system
