Job Title: CT Technologist
Location: Laredo, TX 78045
Duration: 3+ Months (Possibility of Extension)
Schedule: Monday – Friday with overlapping weekends; 7 PM shift (CT/XR)
On-Call: May be required
Travel Requirement: Must live within 100 miles of the facility
Position Summary:
The CT Technologist operates Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and minimizing radiation exposure. This role supports physicians during procedures, including room prep and emergency response, and accurately documents exams and charge codes.

Position Summary:

This role supports physicians during procedures, including room prep and emergency response, and accurately documents exams and charge codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CT and radiographic equipment and processors.
- Analyze patient body habitus to adjust technical factors and position patients correctly.
- Review physician orders and obtain pertinent clinical data to ensure quality imaging.
- Assist physicians during procedures, including preparation of the room and supplies, managing contrast reactions, and responding to codes.
- Schedule and complete exams efficiently and accurately enter charge codes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Registered Radiology Technologist with CT experience required.
- Active state license with Fluoroscopy certification required.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification required.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners.
