Pharmacist - Critical Need
Job Title: Pharmacist – Oncology Infusion (100% Onsite)
Location: 750 Townpark Ln, Kennesaw, GA 30144
Business Unit: Supv, Pharmacy Care Delivery, Infusion Services
Facility: TP Comprehensive Medical Center – Clinical Pharmacy (Oncology)
Contract: 13+ weeks (possible extension)
Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Local: $70–$80/hr (W2)
Pay Travel: $2,700–$3,200 gross weekly (stipend available if over 50 miles)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to support oncology infusion services at a comprehensive medical center in Kennesaw, GA. This is a fully onsite, contract opportunity for a clinically driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced infusion environment. The pharmacist will play a key role in ensuring safe medication practices, supporting oncology treatment protocols, and collaborating with interdisciplinary clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare, compound, verify, and dispense oncology and infusion-related medications in accordance with established protocols
• Review medication orders for accuracy, dosing, interactions, and clinical appropriateness
• Ensure compliance with USP standards, state regulations, and organizational policies
• Provide clinical pharmacy support to physicians, nurses, and infusion staff
• Monitor patient profiles, lab values, and treatment plans to ensure safe therapy management
• Participate in quality assurance, safety initiatives, and workflow optimization
• Maintain accurate documentation within pharmacy and electronic medical record systems
• Support inventory management, storage standards, and medication security
• Respond to clinical inquiries and provide evidence-based drug information
Required Qualifications
• Active Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia (in good standing)
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in oncology, infusion, or hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding and oncology medications
