IT Data Analyst IV

Location:
Remote (U.S.) Candidates local to Client, NY preferred. Must be willing to support EST hours.

Schedule:
Full-time (MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM EST). Flexibility required to support global project teams.

The Data Readiness Lead plays a critical role within ERP transformation projects, ensuring that data migrated into SAP S/4HANA is accurate, compliant, and ready for business use at go-live. This role partners closely with project leadership and business data owners to reduce data risk, ensure data quality, and prevent post-go-live disruptions.

• Drive data cleansing activities in collaboration with business data owners
• Monitor, track, and report data quality throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure adherence to enterprise data standards during design and data mapping
• Track and manage data defects, issues, and remediation across load cycles
• Coordinate data approvals, sign-offs, and compliance documentation
• Partner with project leadership and data migration teams to assess readiness
• Identify and escalate data risks that may impact go-live
• Support business users through training and data readiness communication
• Recommend improvements to data readiness frameworks and processes

• Independent contractor role with no direct reports
• Responsible for execution and delivery of assigned data readiness activities
• Operates with autonomy while aligning with project governance and standards
• Provides risk identification, transparency, and recommendations to leadership
• No direct authority over enterprise policies or standards

• No data-related audit findings
• No critical data issues impacting operations post go-live
• Minimal project disruption due to data quality issues
• Reduction in data defects across data load cycles
• Clear visibility into data quality and readiness throughout the project

• Bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
• 57+ years of experience in data migration, IT, or data quality
• Strong knowledge of data cleansing, validation, and quality measurement practices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and act on business risk
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency

• Experience working independently in large-scale transformation programs
• Advanced experience with SAP S/4HANA data migration and related interfaces
• Strong project management and delivery experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
