Risk Mgmt - Critical Need

Seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Risk Management and/or Patient Safety for an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will hold a CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) or CPHRM (Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management) certification and demonstrate strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in managing hospital risk and patient safety programs.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate clinical and operational risks within the hospital.
• Conduct root cause analyses, incident investigations, and safety event reviews.
• Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to develop and implement safety initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and risk prevention strategies.
• Provide education and training on patient safety and risk management principles.

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Risk Management and/or Patient Safety in an acute care setting.
• At least 1 year of experience must be in a California hospital.
• CPPS or CPHRM certification (required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
