Duration: 3 months (Temp-to-Hire)
Shift:

Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (1 hr lunch)

Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Thursday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Friday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (1 hr lunch)

Saturday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Overview:
The Phlebotomist I (PSR I) is the first point of contact for patients, responsible for collecting and preparing blood specimens for laboratory testing. This role requires professionalism, patient care, and strong phlebotomy skills while ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in all aspects of specimen collection and processing.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform blood draws, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Prepare, label, and process specimens according to established procedures
-
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment

Provide clear explanations and build trust with patients

Accurately complete all documentation and records
-
Follow supervisor direction and perform daily activities accurately and on time

Uphold confidentiality and demonstrate organizational commitment
-
Work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or on-call as needed
Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
-
Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in CA, NV, WA)
Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required)
-
1+ years phlebotomy experience (preferred)
-
Customer service experience in retail or service environments (preferred)
-
Keyboard/data entry experience (required)
Skills & Requirements:
-
Strong phlebotomy skills across multiple patient groups
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
-
Must have reliable transportation (bus, Uber, rideshare not acceptable)
-
Must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the site

Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
