Job Title: Patient Services Representative I (Entry-Level)

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Duration: 3-Month Contract

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for providing front-line customer service and support to patients at a medical collection site. This is an entry-level position with training provided in Phlebotomy, offering an opportunity to grow within the healthcare field.

• Greet and check in patients using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.

• Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient questions with care and professionalism.

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the lobby and front desk area.

• Support phlebotomists during busy times or staff breaks.

• Train in Phlebotomy and assist with specimen collection and processing as needed.

• Handle confidential patient information with accuracy and integrity.

• Follow all company policies and procedures.

• Accurately complete and maintain records and documentation.

• Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent – Required

• Experience:

  • 1–2 years of face-to-face customer service experience – Required
    (Examples: retail, hospitality, home health aide, etc.)

  • Keyboarding and data entry proficiency – Required

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach

  • Willingness to learn and perform Phlebotomy tasks

  • Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Transportation Requirements:

  • Must have reliable personal transportation

  • No rideshare, bus, or public transportation accepted

  • Must live within 20–25 minutes of Ellenton, FL location

• Work Requirements:

  • Must be available to work the full scheduled shift

  • Must be on time and maintain consistent attendance

  • Excessive lateness or absences may result in termination

• Prior Phlebotomy experience is NOT required – training will be provided.

• This role involves both front desk responsibilities and hands-on clinical training in Phlebotomy.

• Applicants must be open to learning and performing Phlebotomy tasks.

• This is a client-facing, high-interaction position critical to the patient experience.
