Job Description:
- Technology Requirements (I.E Programs, systems, etc) SQL & Python & Power BI, Advanced Excel, Oracle
- What does a typical day look like? (daily tasks) Position will be a hybrid between a Planner II and a Data Analyst building reports & dashboards to support business needs.
- Preferred background/prior work experience? Computer science & supply chain
- Priority soft skills Independent worker, good communication & analytical skills, detail & deadline oriented.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and organizes data for analysis.
- Analyzes sales forecasts for assigned direct sales materials.
- Generates production schedules and raw material requirements.
- Releases production work orders to Manufacturing.
- Analyzes sales performance and establish Production and QC priorities.
- Maintains inventory to achieve assigned levels.
- Participates in the transfer of new products from research and development to Mfg.
- Ensures that internal departments are kept abreast of work order status, inventory levels and projects.
- Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Maintains work center schedules to ensure proper jobs are scheduled and capacity limitations are understood and communicated when necessary.
Qualifications:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the basic knowledge, skills, and or abilities required.
- Working knowledge of MRP2 and computerized inventory control system.
- Extensive knowledge of material master maintenance, BOM’s, routings and or recipes and work centers.
- Knowledge of cost accounting fundamentals and labor reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python/R, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent
- CPIM certification desired.
- Typically requires BA or BS.
