Manufacturing & Warehouse Associate
Pay: $24 hourly
Duration: 6 months, possibility of extension
Schedule: 1st shift 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

HS Diploma or GED required
Experience Needed:
-
13 years' experience preferred in the following:
-
Experience in FDA regulated environment
-
Sit down and stand up/reach forklift experience
-
Experience in warehouse environment/freezer environment
-
The purpose of this position is:
-
The Manufacturing/Warehouse Associate will be responsible for the day-to-day manufacturing/warehouse tasks which includes: labeling and packaging product, shipping material, inspecting, pulling orders, transporting, and sorting products in a warehouse environment.
This position includes significant duties such as:
-
Ensures all scheduled products are manufactured according to company procedures and cGMPs to achieve customer satisfaction and conformance to company schedule/deadlines

Performs quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials and products
-
Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures

Completes batch records in an accurate and timely manner following each days production
-
Monitors equipment and completes basic equipment maintenance and cleaning activities
-
Closely follows work instructions provided in writing or verbally by supervisor/plant leadership

Moves stacks of crates from freezer to packaging area with hand truck/dolly to complete work
-
Inspects and packages product by checking for damaged bottles, labels, and/or heat shrinks that do not meet established standards

Labels, bags, boxes, and palletizes finished product in accordance with plant deadlines

Provides input to new and revising existing SOPs to ensure procedures are accurate, up to date, and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices

Responsible for reporting quality and safety issues to immediate supervisor
-
Ensures personal training documentation is up to date and aids in the training of others as needed

Maintains organization and cleanliness of production areas
-
Special assignments and other responsibilities as required
-
Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, pallet jack
-
Picks, packs, and ships materials and products
-
Processes all packages for shipping, including affixing shipping labels, boxing products with dry ice per packaging regulations, and processing returned merchandise
-
Online training for dry ice will be provided
-
Conducts physical inventory counts; replenishes stock from back-up locations as needed
Working Conditions:
-
Frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and up to 60 pounds occasionally
-
Use of noxious or hazardous chemicals with appropriate PPE
-
Protective clothing or equipment may occasionally be required including gloves, freezer jacket or jumpsuit, protective eyewear, and footwear

May perform work in a clean room environment

Will work in deep freezers and freezer trucks (-10 to -40 degrees F) on forklift and on foot for periods at a time
-
Will work inside warehouse or outside for loading and unloading of incoming/outgoing materials
Will work with the following resources:
