Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Location Available: Portland, ME 04102
Duration: 6 Months+ Contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Shifts: Night: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Weekend Hours Requirement: 36 hours unless otherwise noted
Call Requirement: 2-hour notice for oncoming shift
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3 years

Licensure/Certifications:

Required:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA
-
Preferred:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) for NICU

Required:
Float Requirements:
- Must be able to float to:
- NICU/PICU
- Acute Care Pediatrics
- Emergency Department (ED)
- Adult Acute and Critical Care Units
Unit Information:
- Number of Beds: Varies by assignment (full facility coverage)
- Team Size: 14–16 RRTs per shift

Must Have Experience In:
- Tertiary care centers
- Teaching hospitals
- Level 1 trauma centers

Preferred Background:
- NICU/PICU
- Cardiothoracic patient care
