MRI Technician

Job Title: MRI Technician
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960
Duration: 3+ Months contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Schedule: Mondays 11 am – 7 pm, Tuesdays 1 pm – 9 pm, Wednesdays 1 pm – 9 pm, Thursdays 1 pm – 9 pm, Fridays 11 am – 7 pm
 
Payrate: $57/hour on w2
Note: Non-Taxable Per Diem is provided to the qualified candidate living more than 50 miles from the facility

Duties:
  • Position patient on examining table and place specified coil (receiver) such as head coil or knee coil close to area of interest, following protocols requested by Radiologist.
  • Demonstrate use of microphone that allows patient and technologist to communicate during examination.
  • Enter data such as patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, orientation specified, and position of entry into aperture of MRI equipment into computer.
  • Key commands to specify scan sequences and adjust transmitters and receivers into computer.
  • View images of areas being scanned on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures.
  • Key in data on keyboard of camera to photograph images.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of Accredited Radiology Program
  • NJ State RT License
  • ARRT (MR)
  • BLS Certification
