Phlebotomist II
Job Location: Charlotte NC
Job Duration: 4-5 Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: :6:30am - 2:30pm M-F
Role Summary:
The PSR II is the face of our company to patients, responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for lab testing while adhering to established procedures. This role requires skillful, safe, and accurate blood collection, patient interaction with trust and confidence, and maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in patient information. Assignments may include doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations as business needs dictate.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily activities accurately and punctually under area supervisor direction.

Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming environment.

Confidently collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures.

Verify patient demographic information and obtain patient signatures post-venipuncture to confirm tube labeling accuracy.

Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Promote organizational commitment and positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors, process excellence, and sensitivity to patient confidentiality.

Communicate openly and transparently with patients, peers, and supervisors.

Education & Certifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Experience:
-
1-3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
