Assignment: Temp to Perm (Temporary)
Travel: Yes

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (AM shift)
Interview: 1 Round Phone Interview

Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue (Must Purchase)
 
Certifications/Degrees Required:
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
 
Top Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years MRI experience
  • Cardiac imaging experience preferred
  • Experience with Siemens (Cemens) scanners
 
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of a Radiologist, the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients for diagnosis of disease or injury, adhering to established protocols and quality standards.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Perform high-quality MRI exams according to protocols efficiently and timely.
  • Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure patient comfort and correct procedure execution.
  • Prepare patient and equipment for procedures, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Maintain safety protocols, infection control, and sterile techniques as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and work areas.
  • Screen individuals entering the department per safety policies.
  • Document all relevant patient information, including history, consent, pregnancy status, and exam details.
  • Manage medical imaging records accurately for timely interpretation.
  • Serve as a preceptor and provide training to new team members as needed.
  • Be available to take call if required.
