CA state pharmacy technician licensure is required. The national certificate, PTCB preferred but not required certificate.

As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, specialty pharmacy, you will work with specialized and complex therapies that are delivered to patients. Key responsibilities * Communication with patients, prescribers, and colleagues. Frequent phone conversations, emails, faxes. Fulfillment of prescriptions, packaging medications for shipment, processing copays, researching financial assistance. * Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist. * Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports. * Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

* At least 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician. * Basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet utilization. * Excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) a must. Specialty Pharmacy experience is a plus.
