Shift: Friday 1pm-9pm/Saturday 5a-5p/Sunday 5a-5p/Monday 1pm-9pm
Job Description:
Medical Technologist demonstrates critical thinking skills, judgement and leadership in the practice of laboratory technology. The Medical Technologist is responsible and accountable for the efficient planning, directing and accurate provision of all laboratory testing in assigned area of licensure. The Medical Technician practices in accordance with laboratory policies, procedures, regulatory standards, recognized testing techniques and administrative policies
Facility Requirements:
Must have 2 years recent experience as a Medical Technologist
Must have their ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist, this must be attached to the submission packet
Must have BLS certification must be attached to the submission (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Must have experience in blood bank, MTS gel & tube methods
Must have experience with Client hematology, (520 and 690), manual differential, body fluid cell count and diff procedures, Werfen Top coagulation instrumentation & urine microscopic procedures
Shifts will be Friday 1pm-9pm/Saturday 5a-5p/Sunday 5a-5p/Monday 1pm-9pm
