Duties
Job Functions: Maintains acceptable visit productivity standards. Completes documentation within Established time frames and transfers back within 24 Hours. Documents skilled interventions to justify each patient visit per regulatory guidelines. Interfaces with other professionals, students, and families. Utilizes aides appropriately in delivering care. Acts as a preceptor to new staff. Shows evidence of interdisciplinary communication. Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff. Demonstrates knowledge of safety standards. Practices appropriate infection control measures. Educates patients and families. Uses age appropriate and culturally sensitive teaching tools and methods. Evaluates effectiveness of teaching and revises plan as needed. Provides orientation to new employees.
