Job Title: Endo Tech
Job Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70816
Job Duration: 3 months
Shift: 8-hour day shifts with staggered start times
Schedule: 40 hours/week; on-call required during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Summary:

• Assists physicians during GI and pulmonary procedures, including advanced procedures (EUS, ERCP, EBUS, ION Robot).
• Performs all tasks associated with endoscopy procedures and scope reprocessing using Medivator and Olympus OER Pro systems.
• Ensures proper handling, cleanliness, disinfection, and maintenance of equipment.
• Supports patient care with professionalism, strong communication, and alignment with Ochsner’s mission and values.
• Provides effective care, adapts to change, and performs additional related duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Required Certifications:

• Current AHA BLS.

Preferred Certifications:

• CER (IAHCSMM) or CFER (CBSPD).

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with endoscopic procedures.
• Ability to work independently, including after-hours/on-call emergency procedures.
• Experience with scope reprocessing and both GI and pulmonary procedures.
• Proficiency with computers, software, and web-based applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work a flexible schedule.
