Location: Midtown Dr, Tampa, FL (Hybrid – Onsite at Ybor Data Center at least 3 days/week after 2 weeks onsite trial)

Job Overview

• We are seeking a Systems Analyst / .NET Developer with strong .NET and SQL Server expertise. The role involves participating in full software development life cycle (SDLC) projects, supporting production environments, and working under the direction of senior team members.
• The position primarily supports Energy Supply Work and Asset Management applications, including custom .NET applications such as Facility Ratings and System Reliability, among others.

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of .NET applications.
• Provide production support for custom and vendor applications.
• Develop and maintain applications using C# .NET (v8), .NET Core, .NET Standard, and Visual Studio.
• Build user interfaces with WinForms, ASP.NET Web Forms, HTML5, CSS2/3, and JavaScript.
• Create and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Web API.
• Write and optimize T-SQL queries for SQL Server databases.
• Perform unit testing (technical and functional) and contribute to quality assurance processes.
• Manage source code, pull requests, and builds using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Conduct code reviews, ensuring adherence to quality gates (documentation, screenshots, gated builds, code coverage, vulnerability scans, and peer review).
• Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Work within Agile/Kanban methodologies to deliver projects.
• Support and maintain vendor-based applications as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements.

 
Required Experience & Skills:

• Strong experience with C# .NET v8, .NET Core, .NET Standard, Visual Studio.
• Proficiency in WinForms and ASP.NET Web Forms.
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS2/3.
• Proficiency in T-SQL and SQL Server development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Web API).
• Experience with Git for version control and Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of unit testing (technical and functional).
• Experience with code reviews, pull requests, and applying quality gates.
• Familiarity with asynchronous request handling and partial page updates.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 
Preferred Experience:

• Experience creating and/or modifying NuGet packages.
• Knowledge of UML for system design and documentation.
• Experience working in Agile/Kanban environments.
• Prior experience supporting vendor applications.
