Job Title: Material Picker II - Warehouse
Location: Onsite – Arden Hills, MN 55112
Duration: 3-Month W2 Contract (Potential extension based on performance and attendance)
Pay Range: $20.00 – $22 per hour. (W2)
Must-Have Qualifications
Job Purpose
Support warehouse and production operations by managing kanbans, ensuring inventory accuracy, resolving SAP transactional issues, and coordinating material flow. Collaborate with multiple departments including Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Receiving. Support logistics operations through reporting, cycle counts, material movement, and process improvement activities.

Must-Have Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated and proactive in completing tasks and seeking guidance when needed
Job Purpose
Support warehouse and production operations by managing kanbans, ensuring inventory accuracy, resolving SAP transactional issues, and coordinating material flow. Collaborate with multiple departments including Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Receiving. Support logistics operations through reporting, cycle counts, material movement, and process improvement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct cycle counts, reconcile inventory, and report discrepancies
- Ensure SAP data accuracy across pilot and production areas
- Support continuous warehouse improvement efforts
- Manage Excess, Expired & Obsolete (EE&O) material transactions and disposal
- Troubleshoot SAP production transactional issues
- Assist with the management of the retain warehouse
- Order materials from vendors as directed
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
- Pull and stage materials for production as needed
- Perform quarterly audits of Logistics Department processes
- Cross-train and provide coverage for Receiving and other logistics functions
- Maintain and manage vendor kanbans and expedite shipments
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Vendors, and Inspection to resolve material delays or issues
- Enter and update documents in Product Data Management (PDM) system
- Collaborate with Finance for monthly inventory analysis and Accounting for valuation updates
- Complete scrap forms and manage obsolete material documentation
- Train new employees on cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and SAP usage
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
- Qualified to safely move chemicals within the facility and other MPLS campus locations
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a warehouse setting.
