Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Location: Colorado Springs, CO 80919
Duration: 3 Months+ (Possible Extension)
 
Pay Rate: $19/hr. on W2
 
Shift: 4 days/week, 6:00 AM start (flexible), 10-hour shifts


Position Summary:
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will help maintain manufacturing processes that support production safety, delivery, cost, and quality goals. This hands-on role involves assembling electro-mechanical products, performing inspections for quality, maintaining 5S standards, and using both hand tools and large test equipment. The position requires a detail-oriented, safety-conscious team player who can work in a fast-paced production environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities:

• Apply 5S principles and work safely in all activities.
• Assemble electronic and mechanical components using assembly documentation and procedures.
• Perform in-process inspections to meet or exceed quality standards.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement programs.
• Document non-conformances and report issues.
• Assist in packaging large instruments for shipment.
• Operate and maintain complex test equipment.
• Perform other activities as assigned by the team lead or management.

• 1–3 years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience, or equivalent industrial experience.
• Use common hand and electronic assembly tools safely.
• Experience with cycle count programs and inventory part picking.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

• Soldering experience.
• Familiarity with hand tools and precision assembly.
• Experience in documenting engineering change requests to address production or design issues.

• Practice work safety at all times.
• Actively seek information needed to perform tasks, collaborating as necessary.
• Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
