The Event Assistant will support the Center Operations team by performing general administrative and clerical duties. This role plays a key part in coordinating and executing event logistics for both internal and retail clients. Reporting to the Events Manager, the assistant will also represent the client’s brand by engaging with all levels of management and VIP guests.

The Event Assistant will support the Center Operations team by performing general administrative and clerical duties. Reporting to the Events Manager, the assistant will also represent the client’s brand by engaging with all levels of management and VIP guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics and execute event-related tasks for internal and external clients.
- Serve as a professional point of contact, representing the client brand to VIP guests and management.
- Operate standard office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines, voicemail systems, PCs).
- Handle incoming calls, take messages, and direct inquiries.
- Manage filing systems, inventory records, mail distribution, and general office organization.
- Conduct basic research and respond to questions or complaints from clients or staff.
- Prepare outgoing mail and answer routine correspondence.
- Compile and proofread data, reports, and other documents as needed.
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance the guest experience and align with the department’s mission and values.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:
- Minimum 6 months in a hospitality-related role (corporate events/event planning)
- Proficient in using standard office equipment

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently
