Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Contract: 3 months (possible extension)
Shift: 8 PM – 6: 30 AM | Nights
Local Rate: $50/hr. on W2

Required Certifications & Experience
Summary: The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of diagnostic testing procedures to support patient care, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
Location: Lafayette, CO 80026
Contract: 3 months (possible extension)
Shift: 8 PM – 6: 30 AM | Nights
Local Rate: $50/hr. on W2

Required Certifications & Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience as MT, CLS, or MLS
- MT, CLS, or MLS (ASCP) Certification
- BLS (AHA)
- Bachelor’s Degree
Summary: The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs a variety of diagnostic testing procedures to support patient care, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized testing in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology, and blood bank.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting of results according to established protocols.
- Perform quality control, calibration, and participate in ongoing quality assurance activities.
- Assist with training/orientation of new staff as needed.
