Phlebotomist II - Float

Job Title: Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) – Phlebotomy
Location: Ocala, FL
Duration: Contract – 5+ months
Shift: Must be flexible to work an 8-hour shift between 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM, based on daily site needs

Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) performs blood specimen collection and processing while providing excellent patient care and customer service. This role requires professionalism, accuracy, and flexibility, including travel between multiple locations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections (pediatric, adult, geriatric)

• Label, verify, and process specimens in the patient’s presence

• Confirm patient demographics and obtain required signatures

• Maintain accurate documentation and records

• Ensure a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards

• Travel between multiple sites and arrive on time as scheduled

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

• 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience (required)

• Pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collection experience

• Phlebotomy certification preferred

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• Flexible availability (weekends, holidays, overtime, on-call)

• Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (MVR required)

• Ability to cover multiple locations with minimal notice

Additional Information:

• Float role with travel between sites (mileage reimbursed between sites only)

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are required
