Job Title: Technical Buyer
Location: Keene, NH (100% Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (Possible extension)
Job Description:
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Buyer I to join their procurement team in Keene, NH. This role plays a critical part in managing supplier relationships, supporting indirect spend activities, and ensuring continuity of supply. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage document control and procurement records
- Request supplier quotes and issue purchase orders
- Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Support indirect spend procurement activities
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure surety of supply
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, company policies, and industry best practices
- Assist with vendor communications, negotiations, and follow-ups
Required Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
- Experience with vendor relations
- Experience issuing purchase orders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with invoicing and payment resolution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with legal procedures related to NDAs and supplier contracts
- Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment
