Job Title: Dispensing Pharmacist
Location: Orlando, FL 32824
Duration: 4+ Months (possibility of extension or FT)
Shift: 6 am – 6 pm EST Mon-Thurs; 7-4 pm EST rotating Fridays.
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed Specialty Dispensing Pharmacist responsible for the accurate and timely dispensing of specialty medications. This role involves applying clinical and operational expertise to ensure compliant processing, fulfillment, and delivery of prescription orders to patients’ homes and provider offices.
The pharmacist will primarily focus on backend dispensing operations, including medication fulfillment and shipping coordination, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely processing. This position requires independent decision-making, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in both structured and occasionally ambiguous situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately review, verify, and dispense specialty medications in compliance with regulatory and company guidelines
- Manage backend fulfillment processes, including medication preparation and shipping coordination
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient order processing
- Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and operational procedures
- Exercise sound clinical judgment in reviewing prescriptions and resolving issues
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and support cross-functional collaboration
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent
- Active Florida Board of Pharmacy license
- Minimum of 3 years of retail or mail-order pharmacy experience
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- High level of accuracy, productivity, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and pharmacy software
