Shift/Time Zone: Monday-Friday- 6:00am-3:00pm.

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and professional service to patients visiting our facility. Whether patients are here for routine health checks or important medical procedures, you will create a welcoming environment and provide clear guidance to ease their experience.

This entry-level position not only involves greeting and assisting patients but also offers hands-on training in phlebotomy to help you grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and address their questions or concerns with empathy and professionalism.

• Assist with patient check-ins using self-service kiosks or handheld tablets.

• Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the waiting area to ensure a positive patient experience.

• Support other phlebotomists by covering breaks and assisting when needed.

• Learn and perform phlebotomy skills confidently, including forensic and clinical specimen collection, following all safety and procedural protocols.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards.

• Foster an atmosphere of trust and confidentiality while explaining procedures to patients.

• Adhere to all workplace safety and professional conduct guidelines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of customer-facing experience (e.g., retail, home health aide, etc.).

• Strong keyboarding and data entry skills.

• High level of customer service skills – empathy, patience, and effective communication are essential.

• Willingness to learn phlebotomy and perform specimen collection duties as trained.

• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace (bus, rideshare, etc., not considered reliable).

• Ability to be punctual, dependable, and work scheduled shifts without excessive absences.

• Candidates should live within a 20-25 minute commute of the worksite.
