Experience:
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in retail or service environment highly preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training (Medical Assistant or Paramedic) preferred.
Certification: Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Job Description:
- As a Patient Services Representative II, you are the first point of contact for patients visiting our facilities.
- You will play a critical role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while performing high-quality specimen collection and processing.
- This position requires both technical skill and strong interpersonal abilities, ensuring patients feel confident and informed throughout their experience.
- The PSR II is responsible for drawing blood specimens, preparing samples for lab testing, and accurately documenting patient information, all while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- You may be assigned to various locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily activities accurately and efficiently under the guidance of an area supervisor.
- Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment.
- Conduct both forensic and clinical specimen collection, following all established procedures.
- Verify patient demographic information and ensure correct labeling of specimens, including post-venipuncture signature verification.
- Maintain required records, documentation, and adherence to regulatory and company standards.
- Demonstrate leadership behaviors and promote a positive image to patients, clients, colleagues, and the public.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, providing education and reassurance during procedures.
Experience:
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
