Job Description:
Work as a contract manager in the Procurement department supporting critical capital categories such as inside plant and transmission projects. Key activities include conducting RFPs, negotiating contracts, and resolving disputes with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day activities associated with purchasing, procurement, and property management.
The Contract Manager will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, subcontracts, consulting agreements, vendor agreements, teaming agreements, and modifications as well as assisting in the development of related policies, procedures, and templates.
The Contract Manager will also serve as the property custodian for property under prime contracts.
The Contract Manager will be expected to regularly handle complex and dynamic issues related to contracts, especially in relation to compliance with federal rules and regulations applicable to contracting with the federal Government.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree required.
Experience Levels:
Intermediate: Typically has up to approximately 4 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires some managerial oversight/direction.
Advanced: Full knowledge of related concepts. Typically has at least 4 years of experience performing this specific job function and requires minimal managerial oversight/direction.
Expert: Full knowledge of the function. Demonstrated ability to apply concepts to the functional area and see big picture impact of actions. Typically has approximately 7+ years of experience performing this specific job function and requires very limited managerial oversight/direction.
