Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides professional, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients in urgent and emergent situations. This role uses independent nursing judgment and implements delegated medical functions in alignment with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting the mission, values, and service standards of the facility.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous 1+ Years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Department.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
Location: Grand Junction, CO 81501
Contract Type: 3 + Months Contract
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
Pay:
- Local Pay: $55/hr on W2
- Travel Pay: $ 2,160.72 Weekly Blended
Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides professional, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients in urgent and emergent situations. This role uses independent nursing judgment and implements delegated medical functions in alignment with state Board of Nursing standards. The RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while promoting the mission, values, and service standards of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform independent nursing functions based on state Board of Nursing practice standards.
- Conduct thorough and ongoing patient assessments, evaluating changes in health status.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Provide patient education, health teaching, and supportive counseling.
- Administer treatments and therapies that support and restore patient well-being.
- Carry out delegated medical functions and administer medications safely.
- Refer patients appropriately for additional evaluation or interventions.
- Monitor and review treatment plans and patient responses.
- Document all care provided according to hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Previous 1+ Years of experience as a Registered Nurse in Emergency Department.
Education & Licensure Requirements:
- Active RN license (Colorado).
- BLS (AHA) required.
- ACLS (AHA) required
