Job Title: Senior Business Systems Analyst
Location: Chattanooga, TN 37402 (Remote)
Duration: 6 + Months (Possibilities of Extension)
Responsibilities:
- Partner with management to understand and address business needs across multiple units, ensuring alignment between business, development, operations, and technical teams.
- Recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer service.
- Research and evaluate software and hardware products to support budgeting and purchasing decisions.
- Define and implement complex, cross-functional, multi-platform business solutions.
- Lead detailed requirements analysis; ensure specifications are complete, traceable, feasible, and verifiable.
- Manage changing requirements, assess impacts, and communicate risks and issues to project teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with technical and QA teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Anticipate customer needs, build strong relationships, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Apply expertise in application development methodologies to improve business processes.
- May serve as project lead or lead analyst for small to medium projects and manage phases of larger initiatives.
- Mentor and validate work of other analysts, supporting multiple concurrent projects.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience (1 year technical experience = 1 year college).
- Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in IT and systems analysis.
- Proven track record leading requirements development efforts.
- Experience in the health insurance industry preferred.
Skills & Certifications:
- CCBA™ or CBAP® certification preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
- Advanced understanding of integrated and interdependent systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, and presentation skills.
