Travel Services supports an end-to-end travel program that includes pre-travel approval, travel booking, expense reimbursement, and the reconciliation of university-provided payment methods. The mission of the Travel Services team is to deliver exceptional customer service, support, and training; provide timely reimbursement processing; and ensure compliance with University Policies, State of North Carolina Policies, and Federal Policies as applicable.
The primary purpose of this position will be to serve as a member of the Concur Support Desk team.The Concur Support Desk is the central campus resource for questions and assistance regarding the use of the Concur Request & Expense System. This position provides exceptional customer service and acts as an expert travel expense reconciliation resource at the University.
Position dutties include: ensure compliance with university travel & expense policies and regulations through education efforts and will provide expert guidance on travel expense-related topics; respond to inquiries via phone, email, and support ticket submission; coordinate ad-hoc trainings or support via Zoom or Teams; responsible for ensuring travel authorizations, travel advances, and travel expense reports, including computation of expenses are accurate, timely and efficiently processed; assist campus users with preparation and review of expense reports for accuracy; work with constituents to solve complex travel expense reconciliation issues; ensure compliance with university travel policies and regulations through education efforts.
