Schedule: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM (2nd Shift)
Work Location: Onsite

Job Description:
This position serves as a team member of the Life Safety/Electronics-Specialty Shop and supports the mission in the section’s daily functions and responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance (PM) inspections on:
  • Life Safety Systems
  • Fire Detection and Suppression Systems
  • Security Systems
  • CCTV Systems
  • Equipment Monitoring Systems
  • Other miscellaneous electronic systems and subsystems
• Installing and/or making modifications to:
  • Life Safety Systems
  • Fire Detection and Suppression Systems
  • Card Access Systems
  • Security Systems
  • CCTV Systems
  • Equipment Monitoring Systems

 
Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods of time.

 
Tools and Equipment:

• May be asked to use:
  • Multimeter
  • General hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.)
• Provided safety gear includes:
  • Generic safety glasses
  • Hearing protection

 
Minimum Requirements:

• Years of Experience Required: 1 year
• Years of Education After High School Required: 0 years
