Job Location: Vidalia GA
Duration: 3+ months of Contract with (temp-to-hire)
Shift: Mon 1pm to 5pm, Wed 8am to 5pm, Thu 8am to 5pm, Fri 8am to 1pm
Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of the company, providing direct patient interaction during routine health visits and life-defining health decisions. This role is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing them for laboratory testing while adhering to established procedures. The PSR II creates a professional, safe, and trusting environment for patients, demonstrates leadership behaviors, and maintains strict confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
Assignments may include a doctor’s office, patient service center, or other locations based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities

Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor

Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

Collect and process forensic and clinical specimens following established procedures
-
Verify patient demographics and obtain patient initials/signature post-venipuncture to confirm proper labeling

Ensure specimens are labeled correctly in the patient’s presence

Maintain accurate records and documentation

Promote a positive image of the company to patients, clients, employees, and the public

Demonstrate organizational commitment and leadership behaviors
Job Requirements

Ability to deliver quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts, and overtime as needed

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting

Transportation & Travel Requirements

Reliable transportation is required (bus, Uber, or rideshare is not considered reliable)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if applicable

Ability to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations with minimal notice

Candidates must live within a 20–25 minute commute of the assigned work location
Education Requirements
-
High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
-
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training (Preferred)
-
Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
-
Required in California, Nevada, and Washington
-
Work Experience Requirements
-
1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections (Required)
-
2 years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred)
-
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment (Highly Preferred)

Keyboarding and data entry experience
