Job Title: Quality Control Inspector I
Location: Columbia, MD - onsite 21046
Duration: 06 Months+

Shift: 1st shift early (8 AM – 5 PM - M-F)
Pay Range: $25/Hr. on W2
Position: 1 Position

Screenings:
The QC roles WILL require the physical please, as a lot of their work is in the MFG space.
Candidate start date: Goal is September

The job requirements include the following essential areas of responsibility:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections/testing of materials, components, and finished products
• Conduct label inspections and verifications
• Enter inspection/test results into appropriate databases
• Review inspection records for compliance with product specifications
• Maintain quarantine areas in a controlled and organized manner
• Support RMA inspections (Return Material Authorization)
• Report non-conforming products to QC Management
• Participate in environmental monitoring (controlled areas + weekly water sampling)
• Perform product discard and destruction activities
• Maintain product retains as required
• Order supplies needed for QC/inspection activities
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete daily QC tasks
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

• High school diploma or equivalent required ( Bachelor’s preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of Quality Control experience (medical device or manufacturing preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping
• Knowledge of quality control procedures in manufacturing/medical device environment
• Proficient in computer systems & databases
• Good verbal/written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safe work practices.
